This was such a step up from the Chaz music video. From the slick humor, to the fourth wall break from Loona, I was laughing a lot in this short. Despite it being a job training video on upcoming IMPs, they don’t take it too seriously, which I loved. I didn’t think this concept would work because while the IMP stands for Immediate Murder Professionals and the whole concept of this business that Blitzo has is to kill souls that are requested from souls of hell. However, I was proved wrong as the humor was slick and quick where it didn’t drag on.

Also, a highlight, Moxxie is my favorite character as he is just a pure soul in the chaos of hell and really deserves better than the treatment he gets from Blitzo sometimes. However, he is able to get some revenge as they get to the physical training and is able to unleash is inner demon was satisfying to some degree on Blitzo. Don’t get me wrong, I love Blitzo but I hate how he treats Moxxie sometimes as he is been loyal from the start and how Blitzo treats him and its not right. Anyway, the physical training section of the short was my favorite in my opinion.

I love how everyone got to play a part in this short, even Stolas as he is now a member of the team after his exile. It felt right and can’t wait to see the shift in dynamics in season 3.

Overall, a great take on the average job training video and the promotion for the short was cool. To have fans fill out applications was pretty cool. The end credits made fun of the no animals were harmed and were honest about the 8 animals harmed was kind of funny.

Highly recommend this short for any fan of Helluva Boss and can’t wait for season 3!
