This was a very cute short. The way that Moxxie and Stolas were able to have instant chemistry was impressive. I love the integration of storytelling in how Blitzo killed the latest target for the business. It could’ve easily been written off as a raunchy portrayal of the characters with little to no depth, however Medrano found that balance between the raunchy humor and being able to showcase all of the elements that go into developing a well-crafted story.

I won’t lie, my favorite part of this short was when Stolas was describing the intimate scenes between the target and the new character Moxxie and Stolas made up. I was laughing as the timing and animation for this scene was perfectly timed with the pacing of this short. We get to see Stolas’ passion for writing/erotica develop into a hobby the character has and it was nice to see.

The chemistry for the two characters felt real and I always like when other characters interact with each other rather than have the characters talk/be around the same people. (E.g. Blitzo and Stolas and Moxxie and Millie) As much as I love the duos of Blitzo and Stolas, Moxxie and Millie together, I love having the changeup of different characters interacting. I hope we get more different dynamics in season 3, along with Moxxie and Stolas, especially working on Stolas’ erotic writings.

Only note I have is the line Blitzo says as he kills the masked people in the story. I wish this was one of the few times they went a little further on the raunchiness and pushing the envelope. I can understand that this is Moxxie, so he’s not as raunchy compared to the other characters *cough Blitzo cough*, but I feel that Moxxie knows Blitzo enough to know he’d say a lot more devious than that.

Otherwise, this was a cute short and the ending credits was so sweet as Moxxie and Stolas were writing and helping each other. This was a cute short recommend checking it out when you get the chance!
