The Keyboard Kid Reaction
This episode, while not my favorite as the classics was funny. From the slick dialogue to Tina’s persistence, this episode was fun to get into and could stay invested from start to finish. The highlight was definitely the chemistry between Bob, Linda, and Teddy. Normally the relationship is Linda and Teddy bouncing off each other while Bob is taking in the chaos. However, I love how Bob was able to participate and take part in the fun while keeping his composure. I also love how he kind of stood up for himself when he gets called a nerd by Teddy. Bob is often made fun of and a lot of the times goes along with it. Something I love that they did is he stood up for himself and had Teddy apologize for his light banter, which was refreshing to see in Bob’s development and hope we see more of this down the road. Though, I know I’ve seen this from time to time in Bob but hope to see this more consistently.
I also love how Tina shined in this episode. She was persistent and got what she wanted through hard work. Despite Mr. Graham not accepting the fact that someone was better than him and tried to take away something she rightfully earned, we still see her persevere and win the typing battle. Also, the camaraderie with Gene and Lousie worked as they had her back from start to finish.
The humor works and Gene’s lines are shocking yet funny showing the humor only Gene can have. Lastly, the ending credit was awesome and creative. Seeing Bob, Linda, and Teddy salsa dance is something I never thought I needed but works at the same time!
I’m so glad Bob’s Burgers is back but wish we got more insight on Louise and Gene because they are the only two main characters to not have birthday episodes so I hope we get that this season or next season even!
